Being Human & Making Mistakes Along The Way

I’ve learned in the last couple of years that I’m not always right. That  as a young man I’ve made some mistakes here and there, however from those mistakes I’ve learned to be a better person…thankfully!haha. I now wake up everyday and say in my head you’re not perfect, but that’s ok because I never wanted to be anyway. I wanted to be myself with all my human errors/personality traits. Sure there is things I’d like to fix about myself like for example: bigger muscles, better self-esteem, less anger, better concentration. Yes these are things I can aquire but the catch 22 is these things take time to develop and maintain, in order to have. I may never have perfect abs but I’ll have a unique personality. I’ll never perhaps be a ufc type of fighter but be decent enough to do taekwondo. I may not understand all the legal language but know someone that does. You see it’s ok not to fit the”norm”, ’cause the ones that changed the world never seemed to be that way anyway.

Future Trends

It’s to my belief that in the next 20 years or so we as a society are going to change in a way we never have before.  Yes I know there’s been all this crazy talk about 12/21/2012 but I can’t help but believe it. Not in the sense of me being killed by the natural disasters around us but by the political policies that will be set forth in the new century. More police state mentality to the urbanization of the world as a whole. We are changing in some good ways and bad in others, which to me speaks volumes to who we are to become in the future. Here are my predictions from what I am seeing through the world patterns so far:

1. North America; Canada will become more transit dependent in the(GreaterTorontoArea/Hamilton Area), Canada will have astronomical price increases in housing which will make more people more likely to be homeless in the near future, Canada will see a bigger debt to owe if it doesn’t control government job salaries/spending, Canada; more violence because of  multiculturalism/religious beliefs, and an educational system that will fail most needs because college/university is becoming too expensive to ever pay off/ no guaranteed livable employment at the end of it all(more low paying  jobs w/ little/ no benefits)

2.North America; United States(U.S); more people will become unemployed because of government debt will mean more higher taxes on just about everything(which will cut away at  people’s cheques from the money that they earn), Police mentality to the extreme degree, More dropouts in the educational system at the national level, Perhaps a WorldWar3 to give the nation an economic boost/patriotic meaning, more ubanization/transit dependency

3. Asia; China will become the top superpower once they collect their money back from the U.S (80-90%)and import more jobs to their country from the West, more car ownership which will surpass the U.S in sales, more urbanization, more suicides(lots of stress to be something)

4. Africa; extreme famine, more wars on resources

5. Middle East; Major religious war

6. Europe; more violent protests, major debt

I am mainly stating an opinion and I apoligize to anyone who felt offended by my blog. Remember these are predictions from trends I have seen in the world, and I am just forseeing things that “could” happen but may not. Sorry if I missed your area in the world, these are the only ones I could really come up with. Just didn’t want to be writing a book.haha 🙂 Please respond to my story. Thanks!

Being Thankful

I wake up many days wondering why am I here. I could of been born in the early 20th century and would’ve had to fought in two world wars but instead I wasn’t. I was born in the last decade of the the 20th century… the 1990’s. It kinda makes you wonder of that thing called destiny. I mean what are the chances of being born in the most technological age that civilization has known …like ever! The ipod came out around 2001/2002 & that gave marathon runners something they never had before, and that was extremly portable music with lots of storage space for thousands of songs! Not to forget the one thing that goes under everyone’s nose…wifi! Being able to connect to many networks with no cables required in almost anywhere in the world! And last but not least artificial limbs! People who have lost their legs can now still compete in the special olympics. Something that would’ve been scoffed at probably not less than 25years ago. Yes we live in difficult times , but with the innovative mind we’ll thrive in the future.

Affordable Housing in Canada

It seems to me that the federal & provincial government in Canada are too set up in their ways to really see the forest for the trees, so to speak. And nowhere  does that rein truer than in Ontario where subsidized housing is not handled through the province but rather the municipalities. How is it that the most populated area in Canada (also known as the golden horseshoe) is treated like a child and the rest of the country gets the province to work for them. You know I don’t know, but I do know this. Every single Canadian has a right to have a roof over their head. When all the political parties were talking about the economy or senior care, what happened to the impoverished? What happened to getting someone back on their feet by providing a mentally sound environment to do just that…stimulating the economy. What the government has to understand is that’s “my money” they are spending, and that I have a yea or nea say on what goes on with that money. I’m not asking for much, just the basic rights every Canadian should deserve.
